一 .使徒信经： The Apostles ’ Creed （主后二世纪开始形成）
A. 1. 我信上帝，全能的父，创造天地的主。
B. 2. 我信我主耶稣基督，上帝的独生子；
3. 因圣灵感孕，从童女马利亚所生；
4. 在本丢彼拉多手下受难，被钉在十字架上，受死、埋葬；
5. 降到阴间；第三天从死里复活；
6. 他升天，坐在全能父上帝的右边；
7. 将来必从那里降临，审判活人死人。
C. 8. 我信圣灵；
9. 我信圣而公之教会；我信圣徒相通；
10. 我信罪得赦免；
11. 我信身体复活；
12. 我信永生。阿门！
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth.
I beleve in my Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of Virgin Mary; Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into Hedes; The third day He was raised from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty; From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit; The Holy Catholic (universal) Church; The communion of saints; The forgiveness of sins; The bodily resurrection; And life for eternity. Amen.
使徒信经对付的异端：
· 撒伯流派 (Sabellianism) ：形态论，认为父、子、灵是独一位格神的三种显现形式。
· 马吉安派 (Marcionism) ：否认基督是道成肉身和从死里复活。
· 诺斯底派 (Gnosticism) ：认为天地不是被真神所造，而是被所谓的“创造神”（ Demiurge ）所造；否认基督有身体。
· 幻影派 (Docetism) ：否认基督有身体，认为他只是神的幻影。
· 多纳徒派 (Donatism) ：否认有大公教会。
· 孟他奴派 (Montanism) ：早期灵恩派和极端前千禧年派，否认有大公教会。
· 诺洼天派 (Novatianism) ：否认有大公教会。
